The mechanics is quite different, but equally funny.On the only bad thing is on my ubuntu 14.04.4 it destabilizes steam (I saved dodos, but eventually I had to "kill -9" steam). I like it! But this game isn't something I would see myself playing when I'm bored, nor do I see myself enjoying it for hours on end. This game is honestly not worth $3. I've found this game online for you to play for free, so why purchase it on steam? If you want to play it then play it online. I think if steam were to have this game they should make it free or about a dollar, not $3.Well thats just my opinion. But I strongly suggest playing this game online and not wasting the money and buying it.. The premise is fun, the first few levels are fine.... but with no change to puzzle mechanics, music or sound effects for 300 levels it is needlessly draining and tedious. I tried to will myself through it to complete all the acheivements, but I found myself dreading starting the game up each time I wanted to complete a few more levels. Maybe one day I will forget how boring this game became and can come back to it to 100% it, but 2017 will not be that year Ugh. Let them stay extinct.. Also you cannot use some magical items to solve that puzzles. But there is a interesting way for doing this.The game's screen splitted into a number of squire blocks, usually in 3x3 grid. Each block have some "terrain" piece in it, and the lines of blocks are "circled": if the dodo will run to the left it will appear from the right side, if the savage will fall down - it will continue his falling from the up. Player have ability to rotate this lines of blocks vertically or horisontally, changing landscape of the mission. Sounds simple, but some mission are quite challenging. I cleared only first word so far, but it was fun.So the game is:- fun;- cheap;- have cards;- have active support; - have good achievments (not that "win that boring campaing by all the races" from DoW2")and worth it full price..
